Visits

During 2008, “Uvac” Special Nature Reserve has been visited by a great number of nature lovers from both Serbia and abroad.

In April, 2008 the reserve was visited by Saša Dragin, the Minister of Environmental Protection, his assistant Dušan Pajkić and special advisor, our renowned actor, Zoran Cvijanović.

We would also like to mention Mr.Maciej Szymański, Polish Ambassador in Belgrade, a great nature lover, especially interested in birds, visited us on two occasions, in May and in August. Mr. Tadashi Nagai, Ambassador of Japan visited us in July.

Also, in July, Mr. Saša Nestorović, Manager of National park “Djerdap” was our guest.

During a couple of previous months, “Uvac” SNR was also visited by numerous journalists, from both print and electronic media (RTS, Happy TV, ТV Lav Užice, Danas, Vreme, National Geography Serbia, Deutsche Welle Кöln, etc. Tadashi Nagai
