There are no translations available. U periodu od 26.02.2009. god. do 01.03.2009. god., na Beogradskom sajmu, održan je Međunarodni sajam turizma. Na sajmu se predstavilo preko 800 izlagača iz Srbije, regiona (Crna Gora, Hrvatska, Makedonija, Grčka, Slovenija, Bugarska...), ali i iz drugih delova sveta (Egipat, Austrija, Indonezija, Tunis, Brazil, Libija...).

Kao i prethodnih godina, i ove, 2009. godine, tokom januara meseca, čuvari Specijalnog rezervata prirode "Uvac" su uradili preliminarni monitoring, tj. brojanje gnezdećih parova beloglavih supova. |

Početkom decembra meseca 2008. godine, na udaljenosti od oko 300 metara od HE "Uvac", "puštena" je u rad volijera (žičani kavez) za smeštaj ptica. Projakat "Izgradnja volijere za smeštaj ptica" je u saradnji sa Institutom za biološka istraživanja finansirao Fond za zaštitu životne sredine u iznosu od 900.000,00 dinara. U sklopu ovog projekta izrađena je i klopka za hvatanje ptica u naučne svrhe, kao i rampa i sistem video – nadzora na hranilištu "Manastirina". |

November 1, 2008-exhibition of photography - "Intact Landscape of Soul" "Uvac" PhotoColony was organized for the first time, in the year of 2008. Organizer of the colony is Mr.Rade Prelić, a photographer with Tanjug news agency. Twelve professional and amateur photographers took part in the colony: Rade Prelić, Dragan Bosnić, Svetlana Dingarac, Zoran Pavlović, Sava Radovanović, Velimir Savatić, Fadil Šarki, Zoran Šaponjić, Nenad Petrović, Goran Bjelanović, as well as ambassadors of Poland and Japan in Serbia, Mr. Macei Shimansky and Mr. Tadashi Nagai. Thus we can say that "Uvac" PhotoColony was of an international character in the year of its foundation. |

On September 25, 2008, Mr. Cameron Munter, United States Ambassador to Serbia, together with his closest associates, visited "Uvac" Special Nature Reserve. He spent some time in the location of Rastoke where he observed griffon vultures. He had a chance to see, by telescope, the eagles "in action", while "tearing up" their food at "Manastirina" feeding point. Our honoured guests also took a boat ride on Uvac lake. They did not hide how thrilled they were with what they had seen. |

During 2008, “Uvac” Special Nature Reserve has been visited by a great number of nature lovers from both Serbia and abroad.
In April, 2008 the reserve was visited by Saša Dragin, the Minister of Environmental Protection, his assistant Dušan Pajkić and special advisor, our renowned actor, Zoran Cvijanović. |

Unfortunately, the problem of unlicensed construction is present in all protected nature assets in Serbia. “Uvac” Special Nature Reserve is also a victim of this malpractice. There are nearly 200 illegally built objects in the reserve area. Most of them, around 160, is in the closest vicinity of the highest elevation point of Zlatar Lake. Making adequate decisions (on demolition!) are in hands of republic construction inspection authorities. |
