Towards the end of May 2008, a quattro-maran (a special kind of watercraft similar to a luxury equipped raft) of dimensions 12x5 meters was delivered to Uvac Reserve l.t.d.
It is placed at the very beginning of Zlatar Lake, in the place called Kokin Brod. The watercraft has a watchman’s room, toilett and, of course, bar.
Quattro-maran is to be used for organizing tourist visits to Zlatar Lake. Interest appears to be great! Around 40 people can make themselves comfortable in this watercraft. We have already organized a couple of promo tours. You can ask the lucky ones for the impressions!
Purchase of Quattro-maran was financially supported by the Ministry of Environmental protection (presently Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning), City of Belgrade, the Ministry of Economy and Regional development, Elektroprivreda Srbije (Electric power industry of Serbia) and "Stara Raška" Humanitarian Organization...
It is important to emphasize that we are on a right track to purchase a similar vessel and "launch" it in Uvac (Sjenica) Lake. This idea would be realized (as expected, in September 2008) with full financial support of The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Serbia. Thank You in advance!
