On September 25, 2008, Mr. Cameron Munter, United States Ambassador to Serbia, together with his closest associates, visited "Uvac" Special Nature Reserve. He spent some time in the location of Rastoke where he observed griffon vultures. He had a chance to see, by telescope, the eagles "in action", while "tearing up" their food at "Manastirina" feeding point. Our honoured guests also took a boat ride on Uvac lake. They did not hide how thrilled they were with what they had seen.
It is also worth mentioning that, in the beginning of October, "Uvac" SNR was visited by Mr. Jaroslav Pap, one of our most renowned photographers. He used the opportunity to visit a couple of very attractive locations in the reserve area and make a number of great photographs.
